Justin Gerry never imagined that he would become a pastor. He was studying journalism in Hawaii when he first visited Slovenia in 1994. During his visit God gave him a burden for the people and eventually a call to begin the church in Celje and serve as their pastor. Justin loves to teach God’s Word, and as pastor and teacher of Krščanska Cerkev Kalvarija he leads the church through the study of the Bible. He teaches from both the Old and New Testaments the truths of God’s Word and what they mean for our lives today. As pastor he ministers to the spiritual needs of the congregation and guides the church in both spiritual and practical matters.

Matej Bordon was raised in Celje and received Jesus Christ as his personal savior in year 1994. He has been involved in the ministry of the church from the beginning. Matej studied and completed an internship at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Austria before returning to Slovenia in 2000 to help found the church. He now lives in Celje with his wife Amy and serves as church representative for Krščanska Cerkev Kalvarija. As representative he helps in the administrative and public duties of the church.
